Barry (1938, New York, USA) has been resident in Hong Kong since 1967.
He is a co-founder of BSI Brokers & International Administrators Ltd.and is a Director and Shareholder. He
has more than 45 year experience in the insurance industry. In 1972 he
co-founded Blue Cross (Asia Pacific) insurance company in Hong Kong and
sister companies in the Philippines and Thailand.
He
holds directorships in Pacific Cross International Ltd., which specialises in
Health Insurance and in Pacific Cross Insurance (Philippines). His
particular expertise is in medical insurance.
Educated at Miami University where he studied Industrial Management, he graduated in 1961.
Through
the US Marine Corps, for whom he served from 1962 – 1965, he had his
first experience with Asia when he saw action in Vietnam. He spent 1966
